Billy is a dog who appears to be a bully at first (only it was a mistaken understanding), but he has a heart of gold. He is good friends with Huckle, Hilda, Lowly, Sally, and others. He first appears in the episode "Billy Dog's Bad Day" from The Busy World of Richard Scarry. He last appears in the episode "There Really Is an Easter Bunny!". Billy lives with his single mother, Professor Dog, who is an astronomer. He is a bulldog/boxer mix. In some episodes, Billy wears glasses, just like his mother. Billy is voiced by William Colgate.
Billy Dog is a gruff but friendly dog.
