Gertie the Crossing Guard is a crossing guard, a dog and a character. She appears in the story Absent-Minded Mr. Rabbit from Richard Scarry's Best Silly Stories and Songs Video Ever. She helps all the children cross the street every morning. She even tells them the song (Stop, Look and Listen) so they can remember what to do.
