The Busy World of Richard Scarry Wiki

Vincent Van Goat is a goat character. One of two versions of him appears in Richard Scarry's Best ABC Video Ever. He is one of Miss Honey's 26 students. He is one of the two goats in her class. He has the letter V for VIOLIN. The other is an adult billy goat with the same name from Busytown Mysteries, in which he uses food for artwork, whether he paints or sculpts. One time, in "The Missing Museum Statue Mystery," it didn't work out to use butter for a sculpture under those heating spotlights, as butter melts. In the same episode, mashed potatoes didn't work as a medium, either, as a statue he made from those starts losing its arms. Also in "The Mysterious Color Changing T-Shirt," he demonstrates color-mixing by using ketchup for red, mustard for yellow, and blueberry jam for blue.

Trivia[]

  • Vincent's name is a spoof on Dutch Post-Imperialist painter Vincent van Gogh.
  • He is named before the Baby Einstein character.
